My design courses are very much in debt with the work of J.C. Jones, right from the seminal 1970-1992 classic Design Methods (cf. Wiley e Google Book Search); here below a few related links — the first, “Softopia”, is his own “online diary”.
Picture is mine, CC as everything, taken while touring around Brick Lane on the "Bansky Tour" by Alternative London. Unfortunately i didn't get the name of the artist on the spot. If you wonder, and if I remember well, the two angry guys are real people, respectively the leader of a far-right organization on the left and a radical islamist on the right. Then the boy on the right side of the picture might be from Bansky (again, by heart from the tour). Look for Alternative London on Facebook, they have a page there (April 2012)
